That Ravel piece is captivating and this lady does such an emotionally accurate job of describing it to music I pray she is faithful to God’s Word and gets the chance to play this for the King of kings someday!
she doesnt play this piece, she LIVES it!!! gorgeous n powerful
this is such an amazing interp my personal favorite is vitally pisarenkos
this SHOWS the emotion of the sea
She’s such a huge inspirarion for me ✨🖤
She has the technical competence to interpret the score in a way that's fearless, and this execution provided several surprises that I enjoyed extremely. I am now a big fan!
C’est magnifique!!
I watch this at least once a week
Wow
wrong
“Mamma mia” 🥹
wow..
if i could play just one song this would be it,/,
1:04
why there’s always someone coughing and ruining the whole vibe
So beautifully played by a soft soul. I felt I was there! Thanks for sharing! 🙏😇
I watched this 20 times and cried each time
this piece will never be heard the same way as before (which was very uniform along certain lines) she really expanded the concept and with masterful control
Absolutely superb! Bravo!!!
Endlich ein menschliches Ereignis daraus gemacht. Höchst überzeugend! Nečuveno!
Excellent rendition!
By their Hammerklaviers shall you judge them!
Здорово! Она говорит фразами, что встречается не всегда.
She's playing with feel
Wow
She plays it a bit slower than most interpretations I’ve heard
That key change at 6:07 is just........ buttery goodness
I hate when people cough obnoxiously during performances
Presumably competition rules again, but you simply cannot reduce the world’s first incontestably great minor key piano sonata to thirteen minutes; regardless of the performance, the sonata has been mutilated.
fantastico! greetings from spain
the composer = genius, the pianist = almost genius.
MY GOD!!!! Leave your dry cough at home, as you would a teething/suckling baby. This angel is trying to show you the pinnacle of humanity's potential. And you are going to attend with a dry cough????
10:53
Holy hell she is mesmerizing to watch, flawless performance
I raised a silent objection in my mind to the languid way she commences the piece, but in all honesty, she has made the piece her own and delivered to us one of the most persuasive performances I've ever heard or could hope to hear. Absolutely stunning. Congratulations to Martina Filjak on a truly outstanding performance.
That pale blue dot. Yeah, that's earth. This is what music sounds like and is the embodiment of the complexity, wonder, beauty, intrigue and mystery of the human mind. Top that.
You can't. This songs sounds like something you would hear floating endlessly inside nothing, as if the entire universe has perished, and you endlessly reflect on everything
Very good piano
The sounds emanating from this piece must represent the limit of what you could write down in musical notation.
The coughing and sniffing from the audience is SO annoying and rude! It’s nine minutes of your life hearing a one of a kind, unique, difficultly learned masterpiece that you will not hear often. Hold in your cough!
Tyler ???? Weirdo
so beautiful. The attention to every note is just stunning and breathtaking. I love how she took her time so gracefully.
3:35 is probably my favorite part of the whole piece
Really?? My favorite part was the beginning where everything is just so lightly calming. I dont have a problem with the louder parts, its just very gentle and pretty it makes me feel at ease.
Mine's everywhere, but one of my favorites is at 3:52
She handles the two big crescendos masterfully. She really makes the sea "angry". There is so much depth of expression in the slow parts. She doesn't rush those parts. Beautiful performance!
That's a very astute observation, thank you. Her interpretation is probably my favorite.
Beethoven never wrote a decent fugue but at least he wrote some exceptionally moving and memorable music.
Beethoven has a real "Human" quality to his music.
Bravo!!!
Tellement sensuelle et inspirée, cette approche.
Bravo! Impressive!
Awesome!! I love the tempo she takes!! Everyone rushes so much it's ridiculous.
there’s a recording of Ravel playing it himself pianists use for tempo reference
